Can you do speech therapy at home?
There are online or in-home speech therapy options. Depending on your state and your child’s age, they might qualify for Birth-Three Early Intervention Services. Here is a link to find your state’s specific Early Intervention program. Often, these services are either free or at a very affordable rate. But if your child is 3 or older? Then we have to look at some other options.

Insurance doesn’t always cover the therapy sessions. Or your insurance deductible is high. Maybe your child’s condition is considered “developmental” or “pre-existing”. Whatever the reason, the financial burden of private therapy sessions can be a lot on a family. If additional therapy services just aren’t in the budget right now, I have some resources to help.
